Chicago BloggerThis week I’m featuring Lisa from Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy! Lisa is a grab bag blogger who writes both personal posts and reviews and giveaways.  Here’s a little about Lisa:

First, there’s me. The queen of my house full of boys. I’m currently a full time office manager for a family business. We live in the burbs smack dab in the middle of Chicago and Milwaukee.  As a full time working mom with a stay at home hubby, I don’t have the typical suburban life, but it works for us.  We live in a house much to small for my three active maniacs, in an area that is much too unsafe for my liking.  But we have each other and that’s what counts.  Between the boys sports (currently baseball, basketball and soccer with the possibility of football) and scouts and our volunteer commitments we are always on the go.  But when we come to a lull in the action, we tend to get a little bored.  So if we don’t have something going on, we’ll find something do like attending a sporting event, show or concert or checking out local attractions.  Because we love to try and learn new things, doing product reviews has become a part of this blog.  You’ll also find that there are some causes I’m passionate about such as cancer research and I do what I can with my blog (and in real life) to help support them.

I love that Lisa is passionate about cancer research. Too bad we couldn’t have done the 3 Day for the Cure walk together last year. Hmm, maybe I should get a Chicago Blogger team together to do that walk next year… that’s an idea! 🙂

Lisa is a sweet person and I can’t wait to meet her in real life. (I don’t believe we’ve met yet, but if we had, it was one of those The Motherhood events that I seemed to have my head in the sand.)

Here are the ways to connect with Lisa:

About Paula

Paula Krueger considers herself a "baby "chef, not because she cooks for babies, but because she's still learning how to cook. She started this blog after taking Wilton method classes and at that point was more interested in baking. She's since become more interested in learning to cook as her family has grown. She also covers product reviews and travel as well.
