I’m in a local mom’s group and one of my best friends, Di, posted this recipe a long time ago. I finally got around to trying it yesterday. It was a meal that started out with complaining but ended with clean plates! The kids kept saying “I don’t like that.” Once they tried it, though, they enjoyed it and cleaned their plates!

This is always one of my pet peeves “I don’t like that. Ewwww!” because they refuse to try it. And then they try it and love it. That’s exactly why we have the one bite rule 🙂

My kids usually have to eat at least 3 bites. It’s been rough at mealtimes lately since I’m trying so many new foods, but we’re getting there.

This looks so good! I was going to try to print the recipe but it has a HUGE 4 page phot on it, I’mnot sure if you were aware of that or not? So just thought I would let you know!
Henrietta says
that should be photo not phot!
Paula says
Yes, I’m aware. I need to take a day and re-size and re-upload all of my pictures. Ugh. Thanks for letting me know, though.

I made this for the wife and myself today and it was very good. The sauce was the best part about it and next time I don’t think I’ll even bother with the chicken in the slow cooker, just do the sauce on the stove top and serve over noodles. The one thing I will do next time is use low sodium soup and bacon because it was a bit salty for our tastes.
Paula says
I thought it was kind of salty, too. I thought maybe it was just because I didn’t use name brand Ranch mix. Good to know it wasn’t just me.
