Boo at the Zoo Brookfield Zoo

Want to take the kids to a not-so-scary Halloween celebration in the Chicagoland area? Look no further than Boo at the Zoo at Brookfield Zoo. The event takes place Saturdays and Sundays October 13-28. I wish I could take my family but our October is pretty crazy and we didn’t plan ahead of time for this event.

Schedule of Activities:

•  10:00 am – 4:00 pm – Candy Stations 
      Bring your own bag and trick-or-treat at the 5 candy stations throughout the zoo!  

•  10:00 am – 3:00 pm – Giant Pumpkin Carving
       Watch a professional pumpkin carver carve 1,000+ pound pumpkins!
North/South Mall

•  10:00 am – 4:00 pm – Halloween Craft*
      Hamill Family Play Zoo 

•  10:00 am – 5:00 pm – Decorate Spooky Treats*
      Decorate a cookie and cupcake with icing and sprinkles

      Picks up from North Mall

Admission to Brookfield Zoo is $21.95 for Adults and $15.95 for Children plus parking. I definitely suggest getting a family membership. It’s so worth the price!
