BabyQ 4 Months

On Saturday Quinn turned 4 months old. I can’t believe it! I’ve been holding off on the post, though, because she was seeing the doctor today for her 4 month check up and I wanted to share her stats. She’s still a little peanut! Remember all the bragging I’ve done about how she sleeps through the night? Apparently she doesn’t like braggers, because for over a week now she has been getting up twice a night. Mommy’s tired now, we can stop the madness!

I want to stand

When I was doing her mini photo shoot, she was giving me a hard time. She only wanted to stand. She kept arching her back like that over and over. She wasn’t fussing, just trying to get somewhere. Speaking of getting around, she’s learned to scoot around the room on her back. Her 8 month old cousin came over yesterday and showed her what crawling is all about. I put her on her tummy on the floor and she was trying to be like him. We decided to start getting her going on food to hopefully stop the night waking and nursing. She’s had the taste of bananas twice now. She is no longer sleeping in her Graco Little Lounger, she is now full time in the crib in the same room as her big sister.

3/24/2014 2 months 23.5″ 10 lb 2 oz
5/27/2014 4 months 23.75″ 11 lb 5 oz

Baby Q is such a great addition to our family. I love her more every day as do the kids and her Daddy. She’s already a huge fan of her Dad. You say the word “daddy” and she gets a huge smile on her face. Check back next month for her 5 month update!

Could she be any cuter? No wonder she has your heart all wrapped up in her tiny little fingers! But baby Q, you need to sleep at night!
