In honor of Throwback Thursday or #TBT, Netflix has sent me a list of old shows to check out and help me take a trip down memory lane. This picture above is of me and my husband when we were dating in high school. I think we were Sophomores in this picture, so that would be around 1994. We will have been together on and off for 21 years this year. That is CRAZY! We will be married for 12 years this month. I don’t feel old enough to have been married for 12 years!
What were your favorite shows back in the 80s? Was it Saved by the Bell or Family Ties? One of my favorite cartoon movies was The Care Bears Movie. I’ve watched that one a few times with my daughter. She LOVES the Care Bears. I love seeing all the old cartoons from our childhood come back for my kids to play with them. A show that my kids have gotten into that we used to watch is Full House (only available on DVD through Netflix.)
There are so many shows and movies on there that you can share with your kids for a #TBT flashback. You can also watch some to have a flashback without the kids around like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Heathers, Clueless, Pretty in Pink, and Dirty Dancing. I could spend so much time on Netflix reminding me of old times and old friends. Below you will have a chance to create some #TBT memories of your own with your kids since I get to giveaway a 3 month subscription code to one of my readers!
What is your favorite #TBT movie or show?
Note: I am a member of the Netflix Steam Team and will be sharing our family time experiences, ideas and inspiration with you each month. I received a Netflix subscription and a Roku 3 in order to facilitate my participation in this program.
