Note: I did not receive anything for this post. I just wanted to support a movie I’m really excited about. Giveaway provided by Lionsgate. Catching FireI am SO excited that Catching Fire comes out tomorrow!  I read through all the books in days and waiting for the movies is torture! I loved watching Hunger Games and couldn’t wait for Catching Fire to come out. Of course as soon as I see this I won’t be able to wait for Mockingjay!

I have to plan a date night over the next week or so, hopefully since my college-aged babysitter will be back in town I can wrangle her for an evening.

The film begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.

  32. Honestly reading the books I was neither. I still am. The whole story of the hunger games felt so much bigger than the love triangle so I didn’t really care who ended up with katniss. However I do believe that who she ends up with in the third book was the right choice for her if she had to choose between peeta or gale.
