Are you in the market for a new cell phone? You should check out Republic Wireless! They have plans that are $19 a month with no contracts. What do you get from your $19/month? All the talking, texting and surfing you can handle. And you get those things without a contract, without limits and without overages.

Here's the phone that you get for $199:

The Motorola DEFY™ XT Smartphone:
Front-facing VGA Webcam
Rear-facing camera with auto focus/LED Flash, 4x digital zoom
Android operating system with wi-fi and Sprint® 3G Coverage with dual-band reception
Over 450,000 Apps through Google Play™
3.7 inch Corning® Gorilla® glass display
Dustproof, water and scratch resistant

I love the fact that there are no contracts with this plan. It would be a great plan to get for when you have a child that needs a phone from time to time. Heck, I am debating getting it as our house phone since we already have wifi in our house. That way we'd have a phone in the house as a house phone, but if Buddy needs to walk to school or we need to leave him at a sport with his coach, he'd be able to get in touch with us because he could take it with him. $19 a month is cheaper than the home phone we have and it's nice that we'd still have the option of sending it with a kid in case of an emergency.
