Chicago Cutlery A few weeks ago I told you that I’m a Chicago Cutlery Ambassador. I just wanted to share with you how it’s going with the knives and also offer you a giveaway. I wanted to include a recipe, but to be honest I haven’t made a lot of from scratch things the past few weeks because my husband was out of town and the kids just don’t appreciate my cooking sometimes. I am absolutely loving these knives, though! I went to a class yesterday to learn better how to use them and wow! (I’ll share more about the class in a few days when I get all my pictures together.) My last post will have a video in it where I’ll show you how to julienne peppers and dice onions. Yay! You can see in the picture on the right that I was able to practice that at my class yesterday. The picture below is part of a snack I had out for the kids when we had a party last week. It was so nice to cut cheese with a good knife. Love it!

I’m going to have to buy a Chicago Cutlery bread knife, because that’s the only one missing from my collection that I could really use. I only use homemade bread now, so a nice, sharp bread knife would be awesome! It’s $29.95 for a DesignPro Scalloped Bread Knife on Amazon. I love the handles on these knives. They just fit perfectly into my hand so that I automatically have the right grip. There are spots on the handle for your thumb and forefinger to rest so that it ensures proper grip as well. These knives just cut things so smoothly!

I’m giving away a CHICAGO CUTLERY® DesignPro™ Dual Material 8″ Chef Knife below. I did a lot of cutting with that knife yesterday. It is awesome! It’s great for cutting larger items and for doing chopping. It has a nice rounded blade that makes the rocking motion much easier to chop. I seriously can not say enough good things about these knives! Win one below!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Note: I wrote this review while participating in a Brand Ambassador Campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Chicago Cutlery and received products to facilitate my post and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
Giveaway is open to the continental USA and ends on October 3, 2012 at 12:01 am EST. Winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries and will be contacted by email. Winner will have 24 hrs to respond. Winner may only win one prize pack, if you win on another site, a new winner will be drawn. Please add paula@frostedfingers.com to your trusted email filter. If original winner does not claim their prize within 24 hrs, it is forfeit and a new winner will be selected promptly.
No purchase necessary to enter or win. Odds of winning are not increased by a purchase.
Contest may be removed at any time.
