This is week four of blogging for me. I actually didn’t write all my posts in one day this time as I have in the past weeks. I have to say I’m not a fan of trying to make a deadline! I’d much rather get all my writing done in one day (while my husband is home) than to try to do it every day and make sure it gets done. I have focused a lot on cleaning out this week. I’ve gotten through a lot and still have SO much more to do! My husband and I decided to get a new desk for the office so that my brother in law can have a workspace when he comes over weekly to work on their new business together. They’re starting an event and wedding planning company called Occasional Happenings. (cute name) So in order to fit this new desk into our office I have to consolidate my crap supplies and such from a 5 shelf bookcase to a small 3 shelf bookcase. I’m excited about my new desk, though. It’s L shaped so I’ll have a place for my laptop AND a place to write, pay bills, coupon, do crafts, etc. This is my new desk:
If only I had the really pretty floor to go with it! I’m looking forward to having a cleaned out, uncluttered, organized office! Wish me luck to continue on my de-cluttering next week! It’ll be a busy week! Preschool three days, two doctor appointments, Mom’s night out on Friday and “Little Man’s” first birthday party on Sunday!

I have desk envy! My desk is a folding table with another table we picked up somewhere smashed next to it. Sigh – to have overhead storage and a clean workspace (who am I kidding it wouldn’t stay clean). But perhaps someday I will organize the office! Thanks for the inspiration.
