Saturday morning we got up bright and early to head out to Boggy Creek Airboat Rides. It was a little bit of a drive, but I didn’t notice because of the company in my car. 🙂 I had on layers that morning because it was chilly. I had on a t-shirt, sweater, sweatshirt and fleece lined hoodie jacket! I really wish it could have been warmer out because I’ve been on an airboat before and had lots of fun seeing the animals. We only got to see a few different types of birds on our tour. The were awesome at Boggy Creek! They gave us all sleeping bags to cuddle up with so we wouldn’t freeze. I had mine pulled up to my glasses. My poor eyeballs froze, though… not much you can do about that!
After the ride we were each able to take turns holding a 2 yr old gator. I can’t remember her name, but when I do I’ll come back and share it.
They also did a green screen photo of us where I became alligator bait. I’m supposed to get an emailed copy of it. When I do I’ll probably just share it on a Wordless Wednesday post. 🙂 The guides and staff were very friendly. I really enjoyed my time there. Thank you Boggy Creek Airboat Rides for allowing us to come enjoy your venue for the morning.

We were on the airboat on Sunday November 7th. It was cold for Florida standards but we brave thru it. We were wearing shorts and s sweatshirt. The staff that we were from the North but we’re from Southern California. Had a good time even though we didn’t see any gators. It was too cold for them. Will ride the airboat again.
