This week The Minions came out on DVD and Blu-Ray. My kids are dying for this movie and don’t know they are getting it for Christmas. We have loved the Despicable Me movies and I can’t wait to watch The Minions with my kids. They’ve actually seen it, but I haven’t. Quinny LOVES the Minions or MinMins as she calls them. The neighbors across the street have a Minion as a Christmas decoration on their lawn and she gets excited every time she sees it. All of my kids now call bananas boonanas now. It’s really cute when Quinny does it.
If you buy the new Minions Blu-Ray you also get three mini movies included. The kids are going to love those!
Evolving from single-celled yellow organisms at the dawn of time, Minions live to serve, but find themselves working for a continual series of unsuccessful masters, from T. Rex to Napoleon. Without a master to grovel for, the Minions fall into a deep depression. But one minion, Kevin, has a plan; accompanied by his pals Stuart and Bob, Kevin sets forth to find a new evil boss for his brethren to follow. Their search leads them to Scarlet Overkill, the world’s first-ever super-villainess.
The Blu-Ray has a lot of extra features on it:

I hope you’re thinking about putting the Minions under your tree this year. Just be aware that the Minions is rated PG for violence and scariness.
Note: I was given the movie Minions in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own. This post includes affiliate links.

My grandson loves Minions and enjoyed this movie. Now I love the Despicable Me movies but for myself I didn’t care too much for this movie. I will probably buy this for him anyway. 🙂
