Weight Loss Wednesday

So I still have no idea what I’m planning to do to help out on this journey. I’ve definitely been drinking a LOT more water this past week and I think that may have been my saving grace. Today when I weighted myself, I was 213; last week I was 212.3, so I had a .7 gain. I’m not stressing over it since I haven’t been doing anything to work on my weight loss specifically.

Activity Week 1

I did try to be more active this week, but it sure doesn’t look like it. I only hit my goal of 8,000 steps one day. This coming week, my goal is to get at least 70% of my goal and drink lots of water. Sunday is my kids’ birthday party so I will try not to over do it then.

If you’re working on weight loss, how did you do this week?

Lately, drinking a lot water and eating plenty of green vegetables (or drinking green juices) has been helping me out along with Nutrisystem. There was one week where the scale didn’t want to budge, but I think it was because of my lack of drinking water then. So yeah, it helps out a lot!

I need to start but I’m just not mentally there right now.

I’ve been on my diet for two weeks now and unfortunately I haven’t used a scale. I figured if I just work on my eating and water intake (and avoid weighing myself), I’ll see better results down the line.

You can do it!!! I’ve gained a few pounds since we did our challenge together. I am not real worried about it because summer is coming and I’ll probably be more active than I was this winter. I do play to join a gym as soon as school starts in the fall!!

Being more active is always a good start! What app do you use to monitor your progress? I am always working on weight loss, healthy living, etc. This week I did horribly due to a delicious chocolate shopping experience and upcoming review. I just can not resist those sweets!

Hey, that’s not really a gain at all. With all the issues you have had getting the baby sleeping you are an angel for just surviving. You’ll get it next week!

I lost a pound! But it’s not easy that’s sure. Just stay with it.

Great job! I’m not doing very well at all, we have had guests and had a huge graduation party for our daughter with lots of sweets and other stuff, (and we have lots of leftovers…) I’m thinking I’m going to have to be working hard for the next couple of weeks to mitigate the damage.

Don’t stress over the scale. Use how your clothes fit as a better guide. Scale weight can fluctuate too much. And remember that muscle weighs more than fat. So if you’re gaining muscle and losing fat, it is not uncommon to see some increase in weight while your clothes will be getting loser.

Great job. I wish I was doing better on my weight watchers. I haven’t been doing well. I have to get back on it.
