The time is just flying! I can not believe that Baby Q is already 2 months old! In the past month Q has been to two trade shows, one of them twice, meaning she’s been to McCormick Place 3 times in two months. Pretty crazy! She’s been to both the Chicago Auto Show (twice) and the International Home and Housewares Show. I don’t recommend bringing a baby to IHHS. They don’t allow strollers so I was carrying her and a backpack and ended up walking 5 miles. I could have easily tripled that number if my body were up to it. I just couldn’t handle carrying all that weight any longer. I’d had major surgery to have a baby 7 weeks earlier!
She is such an amazing baby! She’s perfect in every way. As you can see above, my average sleep duration is almost 8.5 hrs per night. I don’t remember to track every night, but that’s pretty much correct. Last night Q slept for 8 hours! Most nights she will sleep somewhere between 6-8 hours, wake up so that I feed and change her and then will go back to sleep until about 7:30-8am. I can not complain at all about her sleeping habits.
Her siblings are all still loving her very much. Buddy helps me out the most but Monkey wants to help out more than I let her. I am not comfortable with her carrying her around because she’s so little herself. She will take any chance I give her to hold her, though! Little Man runs up and asks to hug his baby all the time, too. This morning he did and he had ice cold hands which made her start crying.

I took her to the doctor today for her two month checkup and he told me she’s absolutely perfect. He said she’s tall for her age and average for her weight. I will definitely continue seeing the male doctor at the practice instead of the female. He’s much more laid back and doesn’t always LOOK for something to be wrong like the other doctor does.
I am just loving having my baby girl. I hope you keep coming back for updates on my Baby Q!

Oh my gosh – she’s adorable. So great that you have the blog and are documenting her growth and take pictures of ‘just her’ alone. I’m the 4th of 4 and I have very few pictures of myself that my siblings aren’t in them with me, LOL!
