Holiday Baby Gift Guide SmallUnfortunately, this is my last Holiday Baby Gift Guide item I had to share with you. I’ve enjoyed going through all this baby stuff. I’m hoping to have more to share with you before baby comes and even after! For now, though, I’m sharing with you how excited I am to have received a Naturepedic Organic Crib Mattress. All opinions in this post are my own.

Naturepedic Mattress

The 2 in 1 Organic Cotton Ultra is highly versatile and will grow with you child for many years. The waterproof side is perfect for infants and training toddlers, while the quilted side provides a more luxurious “feel” for older children, making it the ultimate 2-stage baby crib mattress.

I received the Organic Cotton Ultra 2 in 1 Baby Crib & Toddler Mattress. I love the weight and feel of this mattress. It FEELS like it’s a quality material. Our last baby mattress felt like cheap, plastic garbage. I love that the mattress is waterproof on one side and quilted and very soft on the other side. I want one of these mattresses for myself!

Organic Cotton Filling
Organic cotton is the purest form of cotton and a healthier alternative to synthetic fabrics and foams. Naturepedic uses only U.S. grown and certified organic cotton as filling for its mattresses and buys directly from USDA certified sources. This increases purity, organic reliability and support for U.S. farmers.

Hypoallergenic Design

  • Built-in Dust Mite/Bed Bug Barrier:
No need for an additional dust mite encasing
  • No Wool or Latex:
No need to worry about these high allergy materials

Fire Protection Done Right
Due to our innovative natural design and intelligent mattress construction, Naturepedic passes all Federal and State flammability standards without the use of any fire retardant chemicals or FR barriers. This is achieved through superior product design, the use of more natural materials (i.e. organic cotton fabric, organic cotton fiber and pla fiber) and the elimination of polyurethane foam.

NaturepedicBeware that this mattress is SNUG! I just wanted to let you know that it will fit very tightly in the crib, but at least you know that it’s safe! I know my baby girl is getting the best with this mattress and I’m so glad to give it to her! You can purchase the Organic Cotton Ultra 2 in 1 Baby Crib & Toddler Mattress on the Naturepedic site or Amazon. I am giving away an Organic Cotton Ultra 2 in 1 Baby Crib & Toddler Mattress below; just fill out the Rafflecopter form below.

My little girl would love a mattress like this. With my 4-year old I always have to put a waterproof pad on it before putting the sheet on which is a pain. It would be so great to not have to do that with my 4-month old. Now my 4-year old wants the pad on their for the softness, not because she needs it. I am sure she would try and steal this if she saw it

to be honest, we don’t really have a nursery. my 5.5 month old currently cosleeps and the crib will be going up in my room as well. his bedding, etc. is all coordinated with a super cute handmade quilt we received as a gift with stripes, polka dots, and mustaches in bright primary colors.

I’m due on Jan 3 and we haven’t even started on the ‘nursery’. I really don’t think we are going to have one this time. We kind of want to turn that room into a playroom for the older kids, and just have the baby in the master bedroom. We rent, so decorating isn’t as fun (no painting, no fun things to hang on walls.) We do have a theme for this baby though – purple and owls.

Right now our nursery is pink and purple, but we are adding a second crib for a surprise baby, so we are re-doing it in gender neutral gray and yellow colors
