Holiday Baby Gift GuideOne thing needed to get ready for baby to come is a nursing pillow! Especially when you have a c-section, which unfortunately I’m having again, you need that extra support to hold baby while nursing. My youngest loved to lounge and sleep in his nursing pillow. I’m intrigued by the design of the Dr. Brown’s Gia Nursing Pillow that I was sent for review. All opinions are my own.

Gia Nursing Pillow

It seems to me like the pillow is going to be more comfortable to hold around my body since one end is smaller. It’s hard for me to try right now with baby in the way. 🙂

The Gia nursing pillow‘s patented angled design positions baby at an incline, which may help aid digestion and help prevent reflux. The pillow also sits taller and wider than other pillows, giving moms a wide variety of ways to position the pillow for maximum comfort.

I love that Dr. Brown’s isn’t just about bottles but that they support breast feeding as well. They have the Gia Pillow and covers and also have their own breast pump and nursing accessories. I have to say I REALLY like the bag that their breast pump comes with!

I really like that the pillow itself is machine washable because life happens with babies and I believe everything baby related needs to be as easy to wash as possible! I also like that it can be used with or without a cover. The cover protects your Gia from everyday use, slips on and off without zippers, and can also be machine washed and dried.

Dr Browns with cover

There are not many covers to choose from yet, but they are all really cute! It was a little struggle getting the pillow into the cover, but I think it’s just because it’s brand new and once it’s broken in it’ll be much easier. I’m really excited to try my Gia pillow! (Actually I think I’m excited to nurse the baby til we both fall asleep… nursing naps are the best!)

You can purchase a Gia Nursing pillow on Amazon or wherever baby items are sold. I’m giving away a Gia Nursing Pillow and cover below. Just fill out the Rafflecopter form.
