Note: I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Welch’s. I received product samples to facilitate my review, and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
Our lives are hectic and finding time to make memories as a family feels like it’s something that happens few and far between. I feel like we’re always on the go! One thing we all look forward to is our family “reunion” vacation that we take to the Wisconsin Dells every August. This past August we made some great memories as our small family and the larger family including Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. The picture I have above was taken at Kaminsky’s Steakhouse in Wisconsin Dells. We had the chance to have a REALLY nice dinner with Grandma and Grandpa. There were so many memories made this trip. We had time at one point where we did a family picture with everyone in it. Little Man can’t take a normal picture, I’m sure you’ve seen evidence on my blog; he’s always doing something crazy with his face or hands. At one point we were told to “Do the Little Man” and everyone made faces or posed with their bodies in the picture. It was funny and a great memory we made. (Unfortunately I haven’t seen the pictures yet so I couldn’t share with you.)
Welch’s just launched a new movement called “Share what’s good™” It’s all about sharing those special moments that occur each day with family, friends and loved ones – whether it’s at home or on the go. At Sharewhatsgood.com you’ll find a variety of great content from fun family ideas to delicious recipes. You can share photos of your every-day moments and see how others are doing the same. As part of the Share what’s good campaign, Welch’s has launched the “Share Your Moments” photo contest! From 9/16 to 10/25 upload a photo of your favorite family moment for a chance to win $5,000! While there is only one grand prize, everyone who enters will get a $1.50 coupon forWelch’s 100% Grape Juice – or $2.00 if you share the news. Visit Sharewhatsgood.com to enter.
I know I could use $5000! What are some ways that you make memories with your family? Is it family vacations or just dinner around the dinner table. Let me know and don’t forget to enter the contest! We haven’t taken the kids on a vacation, other than to visit my out if state family. But I don’t think the memories have to be planned. I think it’s everyday things, like bedtime routines, running jokes, favorite activities that are done as a family, holiday traditions and celebrations. The running around, the scouting events that you run for your kids, being there for their sports games and dance recitals, volunteering in their classes, those are great memories you are giving your children day in and day out!

We had a great vacation the year before but were unable to do so this year. It is such a blessing to be able to vacation with family.
