Yesterday morning I decided to have a rare cup of coffee. I also decided to sit out on my porch and drink it, because it was a beautiful fall day. It was a little rainy, but from where I sit, it’s no big deal. It was extremely hard to tear myself away from the porch, though, to finish getting the kids off to school and to motivate myself to work. I decided to try the new International Delight Salted Caramel Mocha creamer because I’d heard good things about it. To be honest, I wasn’t that thrilled with the flavor. The first taste was good, but it left a weird aftertaste. My husband’s favorite I.D., though is Irish Cream. He’s tried other brands and none of them compare to International Delight’s. Jumping on the 50 Shades bandwagon, International Delight would like to know what YOUR shade of ID is. My shade is on the left and it’s called Assortment of Kisses. My husband’s shade is on the right and it’s called Sweet Tooth Aphrodisiac. I actually think my shade is usually closer to my husband’s, but with the mocha creamer actually being dark itself, it made my shade darker this time. I don’t drink a lot of coffee anymore since I gave of caffeine. I’m always paranoid that the little amount still in decaf will trigger a migraine for me so I don’t drink it a lot anymore. I do love a nice warm cup on a fall day, though. Yesterday morning was perfect. How do you enjoy your coffee? I get up every morning and get my husband’s ready for him: prep his mug so it’s hot, fill the Keurig’s refillable cup, turn it on, shake up his I.D. creamer and all he has left to do is get it to his perfect color and leave. I miss having a morning cup of coffee, but I’d much rather not have the headaches if I miss a day. It’s especially hard when on a blog trip and I’m dragging tired and pass a coffee shop. I just want that boost. I’ve been caffeine free since July, though.
Which shade are you? Go to Fifty Shades of International Delight on Pinterest and find and share your shade of I.D.! Tell me your shade and how you enjoy your coffee.
