Day Two of my Anniversary Giveaway week!

We recently tried No Name Steaks Petite cut steaks. My husband and roommate really enjoyed the steaks.  Here’s a little about how No Name got started:

Over thirty-five years ago, in a small neighborhood butcher shop, a local butcher began selling delicious, hand-cut steaks. These steaks cooked up tender and juicy and, as rumor had it, tasted incredible. Word began to spread. When his customers asked the butcher what these steaks were called, he simply replied, “They don’t have a name.” Soon, people were coming from miles around to get the steaks with “No Name,” and a legend was born.

Review, GiveawayFast forward to today. No Name® still is famous for steaks, but now No Name® has also become synonymous with quality dinners for all sorts of tastes. No matter what you’re in the mood for, you know it will be delicious, guaranteed. Look for all the varieties in your grocer’s frozen meat section.

I marinated our steaks for a few hours in Lawry’s Seasoned Salt marinade. I usually love that marinade, but for some reason I just didn’t like it on this steak. I have a texture issue and for some reason this steak had a different texture to me. Like I said earlier, though, my husband and roommate loved the texture. They said it felt like the meat just melted in their mouths.

I also have a box of No Name Chicken and Tilapia. I’m not even sure how to cook the fish. We’ll probably be trying the chicken this weekend. Oh, I just found a recipe section on the No Name Meats website. I’ll have to check those out for our Tilapia!

How would you like a chance to get some No Name Meats to try  for yourself?
