This weekend, October 14-16 is the 41st Annual Bob Evans Farm Festival in Rio Grande, OH. I’m so excited, because I was chosen to be a Festival Correspondent and am able to bring my whole family! (Well, unfortunately Hubby and Buddy won’t be with, but I’m bringing a friend and the two little ones.) I’m so looking forward to a road trip and all the fun things they’ll have in store for us when we get there. My kids LOVE farms and animals so I’m sure they’ll have a great time.
There will be musical entertainment, farm demonstrations, unique shows and booths of crafters and artisans that are all popular among young people, the festival offers a special area catering to the young. In the Kids’ area, you will find an interactive barnyard, splatter painting, a hay bale maze, game tent, kiddie barrel train, straw castle, corn pile, corn wall and puppet show. Children will also enjoy the lead horseback rides and wagon rides at the Bob Evans Farm Festival.
It’s going to be a day full of fun and laughter. So far the weather is showing to be in the 60s which should be pretty comfortable! If you’ll be in the Rio Grande area, stop by!
Children ages 6-18: $3
Children 5 and under: Free! (this is totally awesome! How many family events let kids 5 and under free? You’re lucky if it’s TWO and under!)
