I haven’t had a chance to announce it here yet due to vacation, but I’m going to my first BlogHer conference! I’m so excited!!! I can’t believe it’s a month away! If you don’t know: “BlogHer ’11 will bring over three thousand attendees together from all over the world to share hands-on learning, rich discussions, opportunities to meet with the brands that support them and plentiful networking opportunities.” I’ll be staying with three of my Chicago blogger friends and I can’t wait to get to know each of them better!
Naturalizer shoes is giving me the opportunity to win my conference pass, 3 pairs of shoes and 30 pairs of shoes to hand out at the conference to rescue my fellow conference attendees! How exciting is that?! I will be able to rescue women who are in uncomfortable shoes so they can walk the halls of BlogHer while being completely comfortable, yet still fashionable.
If I win, I’ll be fashionable in Kiril and Alarm shoes with a black dress at night while hitting all the parties. The Violette shoes look awesome to walk around during the day in a cute pair of capris with a nice top. I think the Kiril and Alarm shoes will make me feel sexy and comfortable all at the same time. I’ll have to be sure to get a nice pedicure before hand because I want to show off beautiful nails through those little peek holes.
I would love to be the one to rescue uncomfortable conference goers. It would definitely make me step outside of my comfort zone of the people I came with to meet new, interesting women. I’m overwhelmed and excited about BlogHer. I don’t know what to expect having never officially gone to one, except all the swag I’ll be bringing home. I went to visit a few of my friends when BlogHer was in Chicago (it was before I became a blogger) and their entire hotel room was wall to wall swag. It was crazy! If you’ve been to BlogHer before, I’d love any kind of tips for everything from how to dress, pack, keep people straight, etc…

This opportunity was presented to me by Naturalizer and the Brown Shoe Company, through MyBlogSpark, and this post serves as my entry to win a sponsorship for my attendance at the 2011 BlogHer Conference.
