A lot! I’ve read 15 books since the beginning of June. I’m looking for a new series to get into. Some of the series that I have read are:

The Stephanie Plum Series

The Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Series

The Sookie Stackhouse Series

Vampire Academy

The Meredith Gentry Series

Fablehaven

The Percy Jackson Series

The Katie Chandler Series

Those are all the series of books I’ve read the past 1.5 years. I guess I like mystery and fantasy books. I would love any kind of recommendations you could give me.

About Paula

Paula Krueger considers herself a "baby "chef, not because she cooks for babies, but because she's still learning how to cook. She started this blog after taking Wilton method classes and at that point was more interested in baking. She's since become more interested in learning to cook as her family has grown. She also covers product reviews and travel as well.

You should follow our blog. It has all kinds of books and series to read, plus reviews. We are also looking for guest blogers to review books that they have read. If you would like to send us a few reviews of the books you have read that would be really great! We are also looking for a few more regular posters. Do you want to stick with mystery books? If not Love Comes Softly Series by Janette Oke is great. Karen Harper has a few really great ones also, and she does mystery.

I’m off to check out your site! Thanks for posting. I like mysteries, but I’m open to pretty much anything.

    some series I loved

Lancaster Brides – Wanda E. Brunstetter
Sister Of Homes County- Wanda E. Brunstetter
Daughters of Lancaster County- Wanda E. Brunstetter
    Kentucky Brothers- Wanda E. Brunstetter
Abraham’s Daughters by Beverly Lewis- I purchased the first one i started reading it like 6x before I got into it then I read the whole series in a shot amount of time.
Sex, Murder and a Double Latte by Kyra Davis- thats book 1 i think
    Angel Trilogy- Lurlene McDaniel
    Maplecreek Trilogy Karen Harper

these are just a few that come to mind. Most are Amish Fiction the one by Kyra is funny, does have some swearing.

Great list! House of Night is another good vampire series. I read the Vampire Diaries books too but they are weird and I only read them because I started the series and feel like I put so much time into reading them!

Since you like fantasy, I would recommend:

The Green Rider series by Kristen Britian.

Any of Anne McCaffrey’s Pern books (there are 15+ of them, start with Dragon Flight) or her Talent series (start with The Rowan and go back to the earlier books once you finish the ones in the Rowan timeline).

The Company novels by Kage Baker.

The Jolie Wilkins series by H.P. Mallory (this one might just be in ebook format but I’m not positive).

The Artemis Fowl series by Eion Colfer.

If you don’t mind the the author has kept us readers hanging for the final book in the series for 10 plus years, the Exiles trilogy by Melanie Rawn is an AMAZING read.

Torrey and I both read Fablehaven (just the first book) in June month. He received it as a b’day gift in May. It’s a really good read.

I just finished the Millennium series (Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Girl who Played with Fire, Girl who kicked the Hornets nest)

If you haven’t read them yet you should – they are great!
