Sid the Science Kid, nCircle, DVD, sing along“I wanna know why things happen and how and I wanna know now”

That’s what Sid sings in every episode of Sid the Science Kid on his special . My kids love Sid, in fact, they’re in the other room watching him as I write this post. I was given the chance to review Sid’s Sing Along DVD.

Sid wonders what he could possibly do on his day off from school.  But when all of his friends come over for a play date, they quickly put their science minds together and decide to put on a show in the backyard!  They each take turns rocking out as they sing their favorite science songs for a very appreciative audience of Mom, Dad, and Zeke!

In this episode Gabriela, Gerald and May come over to play on a day off of school. They all talk about their favorite things at school and decide that everyone’s absolute favorite is singing. They then decide to put on a show for Sid’s parents.

The episode starts out with Sid and his Dad singing about working your body. When they put on their show Gabriela sings about Charts. Sid sings about Magnifying. Mom and Dad sing about Estimation. Gerald sings about Wheels. Mae sings about Clouds. The teacher Susie has a guest appearance and sings about Hearing Soundwaves.

There is also a bonus episode called Sid the Weatherman on the DVD. My kids are really having a great time watching this DVD. Monkey loved watching the pictures as they were singing and pointing out what was flashing on the screen.
