One year later: Rebuilding & Renewing

Despite the devastating 2010 earthquake, Haitian artisans continue to create art reflecting their rich culture and history. From recycled oil drums and wrought iron to paper mache and stone, Haitian artisans transform some of the most unlikely materials into art. Through Heart of Haiti, specific Macy’s locations sell this hand-crafted art, helping to provide better nutrition, improved education and health care resources for the artisans and their families.
