Hello Kitty Lamp Review

Does your little girl love Hello Kitty? Monkey sure does! I was recently asked to review a Hello Kitty Lamp so I gave it to her for Christmas. She was so excited when she opened the box! She couldn’t wait for the lamp to get set up in her room. Since then, any child that enters her room immediately goes for that lamp to try it out. It is so simple to use. As you can see from the picture above, there is a little on/off button on the base that you can push to turn it on. I love how it looks like Hello Kitty is holding the chain to turn the lamp on for you. One of the other nice features about the lamp is that you can change the light bulb without taking the shade off (not that we’ve had to do that, yet.) I like how secure the shade is, as well. Having the lamp in an almost 4 yr old’s room is a little scary that she’d play with it and knock the shade into the bulb and start a fire. I did that once when I was younger. She has been very responsible with that lamp, though. When she wakes up in the morning, she turns it on and sits in her room playing. Sometimes throughout the day I won’t see her in the main rooms of the house so I’ll go looking for her. She’ll have her little lamp on playing with her toys in her room. I definitely recommend this lamp to anyone whose little girl loves Hello Kitty. You can purchase it at Sanrio or at Target stores for $24.99. Sanrio also has a promotion at the moment that if you spend $35 you get a free luggage tag and if you spend $50 you get a free reusable water bottle. I could easily spend that much on that site for Monkey!
