I needed a quick meal for after our Halloween party on Saturday, because I knew I wouldn’t want to cook! It seems I didn’t want to take pictures, either, because the only finished pic I got is posted above.
Ingredients:
- 3-4 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 large onion
- 1 bottle of Country Bob’s BBQ Sauce
Directions
- Cut onion
- Put onions, chicken and BBQ sauce into crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hrs
- Take two forks and shred your chicken pieces.
- Serve on buns.
Simple and yummy. I’d never tried the Country Bob’s BBQ sauce before (only the all-purpose sauce.) It was a little spicy for me, but I’ve also had a sore throat from coughing for over a week. Hopefully your family will enjoy this recipe.
This post was not sponsored by Country Bob’s. I received a gift pack from them when they sponsored me for Bloggers on Bourbon and I was just able to use the BBQ sauce.
I love, love, love spicy and pulled pork is fave. YUMMY!
Oh paula! We love our country bobs!!! This sounds solo good! Thanks for posting!
um hope it tastes better than it looks. Although we love chicken and country bobs :d
I think it sounds great! I’ve been trying to come up with some more crockpot dinners and will have to give it a try.
Funny, Just the other day I did something very similar but instead of onions I use green onions, green and red peppers some cilantro and a pinch of salt. Also instead of buns I cut up some sweet potatoes and some potatoes and put them to boil.
I served the pulled chicken over the potatoes and SP and delicious.
