country bobs,chicken,onions,crockpot
I needed a quick meal for after our Halloween party on Saturday, because I knew I wouldn’t want to cook! It seems I didn’t want to take pictures, either, because the only finished pic I got is posted above.

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 bottle of Country Bob’s BBQ Sauce

Directions

  1. Cut onion
  2. Put onions, chicken and BBQ sauce into crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hrs

  3. Take two forks and shred your chicken pieces.
  4. Serve on buns.

Simple and yummy. I’d never tried the Country Bob’s BBQ sauce before (only the all-purpose sauce.) It was a little spicy for me, but I’ve also had a sore throat from coughing for over a week. Hopefully your family will enjoy this recipe.

This post was not sponsored by Country Bob’s. I received a gift pack from them when they sponsored me for Bloggers on Bourbon and I was just able to use the BBQ sauce.

I think it sounds great! I’ve been trying to come up with some more crockpot dinners and will have to give it a try.

Funny, Just the other day I did something very similar but instead of onions I use green onions, green and red peppers some cilantro and a pinch of salt. Also instead of buns I cut up some sweet potatoes and some potatoes and put them to boil.
I served the pulled chicken over the potatoes and SP and delicious.
