Wow, it’s hard when you lose a week of your life! I appreciate my husband for taking care of the kids for me last week, but that’s about all he could manage with working full time as well. With me laid up on the couch, can you imagine the state of the house afterwards?! So all day today I have been cleaning cleaning cleaning. This is embarrassing, but I just finished unpacking from the 3-Day for the Cure walk (that was the first weekend of August.) Whoops! I unpacked two boxes and actually cleaned and started organizing our bedroom today. I also got the kids’ rooms picked up and living room/dining room. Oh! I also made a chicken broth from a chicken carcass. It turned out yummy! Got the garbage taken out and laundry started. I have three loads to fold, whites left to wash and some other odds and ends to wash tomorrow. The dog even got a haircut! She looks like a puppy again. Wow, what a busy day.

I actually made it back to the gym yesterday for the first time since July. Eek! I did 31 minutes on the treadmill and while peeking in on my friends in spin class the instructor told me to come in so she could kick my butt. 🙂 I did the last 30 minutes of spin class. My abs and bottom are sore from that class. Do you ever get used to sitting on a bicycle seat? Ouch!! Back to the gym again tomorrow. I lost 10 lbs the last two weeks; I want to keep it going! I also have a backlog of reviews and giveaways to get to; expect to see those soon.

I used to ride with my husband all the time and never got used to those seats. Then I bought a gel seat and I never hurt again. I would bring it to spin class with me.
