Stromboli Recipe

I got this recipe from Dine Without Whine; it’s a menu planning website. Christine has some good recipes on her menus and they’re all pretty quick and easy to prepare. I’m really enjoying my membership to her site. Not only do you get a weekly menu, but you get the shopping list that’s already categorized for you. It’s definitely worth checking out!

Stromboli

Makes 8 servings

1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
2 eggs, separated
2 tablespoons oils
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 (4-ounce) package sliced pepperoni
1 (8-ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
Pizza Sauce (optional)

1. Roll out bread dough into a 12×15-inch rectangle; set aside.

2. Combine egg yolks, oil, oregano, parsley, garlic powder and pepper together; spread over dough. Arrange pepperoni and mozzarella cheese on top; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Roll up; place seam-side down on a baking sheet. Brush with egg whites; bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.

Serve with Tossed Green Salad

There are quite a few membership options for Dine Without Whine:

I was not asked to review Dine Without Whine, I just like the service and wanted to share it with my readers. I loved this recipe and can’t wait to make it again for my family.
