1.  Hexbug Nano V2 Helix 180 Large Play Set $29.99

Hexbug Nano V2 Helix 180 Large Play SetI’m not sure how I ended up with only one “girl” toy on the list. I think that shows how hard of a time I have shopping for her! I guess there are two gifts for her with the Spirograph. I remember growing up my sister had the Spirograph and she would never let me touch it. Monkey loves to draw, so I think she’d really enjoy that gift. Telestrations is really not a game for my kids’ ages, but I LOVE the gmae and I think it’d be great for older kids and adults. My boys have been asking for Skylanders since they first started advertising for it. I put the HEXBUGs at #1, because my kids will play with them for hours. I think it’s a great deal for the money and amount of play time you’ll get out of it.

What’s on your holiday gift list this year? Did I pick any that you would pick?

C would really like the Jake and the Neverland Pirates boat, but it wouldn’t get played with for more than a week. I will definitely be purchasing Monsters U and Despicable Me 2, but only when they are on sale.

    Great list!

Spirograph! So many good childhood memories of making those colorful spirals. Might be time to pick one up for our son. 🙂

My kids circled 100 things in the Target toy book – and we’ve been “reading” it for the past week. There are definitely some fun ideas in it!
