Housewarming

The new house is coming along slowly. It’s been hard to work on it when I’m also taking care of 3 kids, taking care of every day stuff and making cakes for everyone. Don’t get me wrong, I am totally enjoying making all these cakes. It’s just hard to see them when you haven’t finished painting your kitchen ceiling yet so you can put your ceiling fan/light combo back up and you just don’t get enough light to make detailed, pretty cakes!

We’re looking for more furniture for our house. I was recently contacted from CSN Stores to do a review, so I’m hoping to find something we need. CSN Stores has over 200 amazing online stores where you can almost find anything you need whether it be a sofa or a suitcase, a crib or a cookie sheet! We already have a sofa from when we bought the house but we still need chairs for our bedroom. Charlie wants two sitting chairs for our bedroom. I think it’ll just become another laundry holder, but whatever; I’m still looking.

The only room that is finished is Monkey’s. (I say finished, but she still needs her carpet cleaned)

Whoops the stepladder was still there

Still to be done:

  • Master Bedroom: unpack and paint walls
  • Boys’ Room: scrape & paint ceiling, paint walls
  • Bathrooms: completely redo
  • Whole House: trim- paint white, clean carpets
  • Kitchen: finish ceiling, paint walls, paint counters, do something with floors
  • Family Room: scrape ceiling eventually

Too much to do!

She also covers product reviews and travel as well.

LOVE that buttery wall color — beautiful! Did you paint her bedroom furniture yourself?

I actually found her furniture at a garage sale across the street (the desk and shelves) when I was buying a carseat because my MIL took off with my eldest’s in her car and I needed to get to the bank. Anyway, she was really glad it was pink because she didn’t like the yellow after telling me 100 times that she wanted her room to be yellow.

We are remodeling and I am not looking forward to that. It takes FOREVER to build and/or remodel and I just want to live in a house without tools lying everywhere LOL

I love that pink furniture! Good luck getting it all finished!
