Millions of veterans have served our country, yet many still face a major gap in healthcare access: dental care.
Tomorrow in Chicago, veteran advocates, VFW leaders, and community members are coming together to call attention to the issue and help connect more veterans with the care they need.
Veteran advocates Zach Bell and Jenna Carlton will join VFW leadership to raise awareness, share their perspectives, and support efforts to expand access to free and reduced-cost dental services.
The gathering will also include an announcement of expanded partnerships with the VFW and VA aimed at helping close the dental care gap — ahead of a nationwide initiative on Saturday, Nov. 7, offering free dental care to veterans at more than 550 Aspen Dental offices.
