Kellogg’s Movie Event at Walmart #goodnightsnack #cbias

In my house, we tend to watch a movie or Survivorman before we go to bed and if we’ve had an early dinner, we want snacks to munch on while we watch! I’m personally not a popcorn fan and I like something sweet to curb my cravings. This past weekend, we visited Walmart where they had a family movie night and along with the movie they had a Kellogg’s Cereal Bar for us to make our own snack with.

The kids had such a blast mixing their cereals and adding toppings to their #goodnightsnack. Unfortunately I didn’t get any great pictures of the bar that night. I was distracted with a fever and head cold. 🙁 They had a TON of cereals to choose from. My husband liked the Chocolate Crave cereal and I liked the Jif peanut butter cereal the best.

I loved that they had different toppings to add on to the cereal. I would have added some fresh fruit to my cereal snack bar. My kids love fresh strawberries added into their cereal. Setting up a cereal bar for a movie night or sleepover would be great.

Kellogg’s and Walmart had a few surprise guest come out to great the crowd that was gathering for the movie. Monkey wanted nothing to do with either of them. She was also getting over a cold at the time.

Spiderman came out and he was AWESOME! He got the kids engaged and had a GREAT personality. I wish I could have gotten Monkey to get in the picture, too. Spiderman visited, because the movie being played was The Amazing Spider Man 2. The weather was PERFECT on Saturday for an outdoor movie! Just remember if going to an outdoor movie to bring some bug spray! Mosquitoes are irritating. If you see that picture of Monkey up there, she has a bite right under her eye. 🙁

Keep an eye out at your local Walmart to see if Kellogg’s will be visiting to let you build your own good night snack at their cereal bar and let you watch a movie under the stars.
