Do you take probiotics? That is one thing my husband and I are pretty good about taking every day. For me, it’s especially important to take them when I’m traveling. TMI: I tend to get constipated and gassy when I travel so when I take my probiotics it helps to keep things normal for me. What I never knew, though, was that there was special probiotics made just for women! Provella is made specially for women to help women restore and maintain a healthy balance of good bacteria to support digestive and vaginal health.
A. Probiotics are not drugs or vitamins. Rather, they are live microorganisms, usually bacteria, which may benefit human health.1 Probiotics are referred to as friendly or good bacteria.1 The human body, and particularly the lower gastrointestinal tract, contains a complex and diverse community of bacteria.1 Although we sometimes think of bacteria as germs, many actually help the body work properly.1 More than one hundred years ago, a Nobel laureate named Elie Metchnikoff first suggested that consuming these good bacteria, or “probiotics,” could have substantial health benefits.1

I don’t take any now, but I would like to start because I feel they would improve my health. I have bouts of reflux even though I follow all the “don’ts” I feel full for hours after eating, so I don’t think my digestive system is running at peak performance.

I had a bottle a few months ago my daughter purchased for me and I took them. I want to continue taking these, especially since I have lots of stomach issues and things like that

My vitamins have some probiotics. I can’t eat dairy anymore and really miss the probiotic affect found in yogurt, so it would be great to try this brand.
