Today is day 5 of the 25 days of Christmas and I have something a little different for you. Today you don’t actually get the recipe unless you comment on this post. When you do, you’ll get a Christmas card from me with the recipe in it. Cool, right?

Today is day 5 of the 25 days of Christmas and I have something a little different for you. Today you don’t actually get the recipe unless you comment on this post. When you do, you’ll get a Christmas card from me with the recipe in it. Cool, right? Last year I got together with my in-laws and all the kids to have a cookie making play date. The kids had such a great time playing and the adults had fun decorating cookies. My sister-in-law, E, and I had fun making these snowman cookies together.

They take a bit of work, but they are well worth it. They are very delicious and totally cute to look at! I plan to make them again this year as soon as I can find the oranges needed to make the noses. We loved the cookie making tradition that we plan to do the same this year. We were going to do it today, but unfortunately my sister in law and the majority of her kids are sick right now. Hopefully we can get together in the next two weeks. I love that the kids can know their cousins and we can all have such great memories.

We also usually get together to do gingerbread houses sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Since it’s so time consuming, this year we decided to just let the kids decorate gingerbread men. With a few of the kids it took just as long for them to decorate a simple gingerbread man as it would to do a whole house. I don’t think little man had a single centimeter of gingerbread showing on his man!

I’d love to know what your recipe for a happy holiday is! Is it decorating cookies with your kids? Eating a special meal with your family? Setting up the Christmas tree or stringing holiday lights outside? Let me know below, and don’t forget, if you comment, you will get a Christmas Card from me with the recipe for these cute little snowman cookies!

Whether it’s a personalized card or cookies right out of the oven, I love sharing the warmth of the holiday season with my family, friends and, of course, my readers! Comment below and I’ll mail you a card featuring my favorite cookie recipe, and Cardstore will share a coupon code for 75% off holiday cards so you can whip up a special batch of cards for the people you love. Just follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Leave a comment below sharing your recipe for a happy holiday

Step 2: When the registration box appears, complete the form

Step 3: That’s it! My recipe and a coupon code from Cardstore will be sent to you by mail

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cardstore. The opinions and text are all mine.
