Last month my Mother’s-in-law credit cards were stolen from her wallet. The amount of time she had to go into taking care of that mess was crazy. I felt so bad for her. She and my Father-in-law looked into LifeLock since both my husband and I talked to her about it. I’m not sure if they ended up going with the service, but I know that we have! Yesterday I signed myself up for LifeLock and will be signing my husband up this week as well.
The set up for LifeLock was very simple. For some reason there was an error when I tried to set it up online, so I had to call on the phone. I despise being on the phone now, but this was simple and the lady I talked to was very nice. I was on the phone for no more than five minutes getting set up.

LifeLock lets you know if you have new alerts and will even text you if you have one. I haven’t gotten the texts to work yet on my phone. I’ll have to call LifeLock to find out what’s going on. I’ve had them sent twice and have not received them either time. This is the only big hiccup I’ve seen with the service and I’m sure it’s something to do with my phone and not LifeLock as I’ve been having issues lately with it.
I woke up this morning to this email saying that I’d been removed from the Pre-Approved Credit Card list. I’m glad. I’ve been getting these things in the mail almost daily! It’s only a matter of time before someone snatches it out of my mailbox and somehow gets a card in my name.
