Summer travel season is coming to an end, but it’s time for back to school! If your kid needs a backpack, eBags has you covered! I actually got two bags for my recent travel adventures to BlogHer12 and everything else after that (trip to Wisconsin, Brandcation in Tennessee, etc.) I have completely fell in love with these bags. Actually, I first saw eBags when Kim brought them to Brandcation, Bloggers Gone Coastal and thought they were the coolest bags ever.I got the Mother Lode TLS Mini Wheeled Duffle in sinful red and the Piazza Day Bag in black.

The Piazza Day bag has become my every day bag! I love it because it has so many different pockets to organize everything. It is also a great size so I can carry my Xyboard (fits an iPad, instead, as well) or my Nikon DSLR in it. (Not quite big enough for both unless I take my lens off my camera.) When I’m out and about on just a regular day I can throw my wallet in there with my homemade diapers and wipes case. I sure hope to not need those soon! When in NYC for BlogHer it was great to have this bag to carry everything I needed in it. I had used my Xyboard to hold all of my schedule and directions so I needed something that could comfortably carry it. I also threw my point and shoot camera in one of the pockets for when I needed more than my phone camera could do. (I totally missed my DSLR on the trip but I am glad I left it home.) I also kept extra business cards, a fold up reusable bag and a bottle of water. This bag was a lifesaver! It sells for $29.99 on the eBags site. You can see the Piazza Day Bag in action:

The Mother Lode TLS Mini Wheeled Duffle is the best carry on bag, ever! It’s like a duffle bag with a hard back/bottom that is on two wheels. The handle telescopes beautifully! It is so easy to take the handle out, unlike my cheap suitcases where I practically have to pick up the suitcase by the telescoping handle and shake it until it comes out. Just like the Piazza bag there are a ton of different storage pockets on this bag and it also unzips more to extend and make it a bigger bag. I love that it has a little zipper pouch at the top that has a strap to strap other luggage to it. For my trip to BlogHer I was able to fit everything I needed into that little 21″ suitcase! It was about 5 days worth of clothes, makeup, shower stuff, one pair of shoes, and personal items. I then nested it inside two bigger (old, crappy) suitcases because I needed space to come home with my swag. I plan to add to my collection and get the other two bigger Mother Lode bags to round out my travel collection. The Mini that I have is currently $142.49 on the eBags site which is more than I’d like to pay for a suitcase, but in my experience, this bag is SO worth it! If you’d like to see how the Mother Lode TLS works, here is a video of the Junior sized bag in action:

Check out eBags on their site, Facebook and Twitter.

Note: I was given the two bags in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own.
