Note: I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for McCain Foods. I received a promotional item as a thank-you for participating.

When it’s dinner time in our family, as long as we are not rushing off to some sports or scouts event, we sit down as a family to eat dinner around the table. I think it’s important for many reasons: 1) You are spending quality time together as a family with no interruptions or electronics 2) The kids learn how to act at a table so when you go out in public to eat, it’s not a free-for-all and 3) The kids also learn to eat what is served to them so that they can try new items and learn to appreciate what’s given to them.

McCain Potatoes would love to help your family have some dinner time around your table by offering the following giveaway:

McCain Potatoes is running a Facebook Contest where they will select 1 winner each week (8 winners total) to receive a $500 grocery store gift card!  Contestants can also check out the Grocery Goodness Giveaway tab for to receive a $1 off coupon off any 1 bag of McCain Potato products!

“Load up on groceries your family loves, and bring naturally good moments to the dinner table every time you serve McCain Potatoes.”

Be sure to check out the McCain Potatoes Facebook page for their contest. Tell me, is eating around the table important for your family and why?

About Paula

Paula Krueger considers herself a "baby "chef, not because she cooks for babies, but because she's still learning how to cook. She started this blog after taking Wilton method classes and at that point was more interested in baking. She's since become more interested in learning to cook as her family has grown. She also covers product reviews and travel as well.

Having everyone at the table for dinner is HUGE for me! I love to talk about everyone’s day and just take some time to enjoy each other!
