Popcorn, Healthy, Weight LossI was recently asked if I’d like to try Orville Redenbacher’s SmartPop! Popcorn. It contains only 100 calories in a 6 cup serving so of course I wanted to try it since I’m trying to watch calories. I was actually a little disappointed in the flavor of the popcorn. I like very buttery popcorn. Since this is a lighter popcorn, there obviously isn’t a lot of butter on it. The kids, however, love the popcorn. The nice thing about the new SmartPop is that it pops in it’s own bowl! You don’t have to dirty any bowls and since it’s shaped like a bowl you don’t have to stick your hands into a small opening in a bag, getting your whole arm full of butter. Since I couldn’t eat the whole bowl by myself, I could take half out and melt an extra tablespoon of butter over the popcorn to make it more the way I like it. That would make a 150 calorie snack, that’s still a great snack!

Orville Redenbacher’s® SmartPop! Gourmet® microwave popcorn has just 100 calories per 6 cups and is 94% fat free, so you can snack without giving up the delicious, fresh-popped taste and aroma you love

Now all they need to do is put their 100 calorie Kettle Corn into the bowls and I’ll be a happy camper! If you’d like to try out the new Orville Redenbacher’s SmartPop! you can get a $1 off coupon on their Facebook page. I’m also giving away 10 boxes of the popcorn; one box per winner for 10 winners!
a Rafflecopter giveaway
