All of my natural friends talk about Probiotics and that you should take them. I’m still not sure why, so as I write this blog post I will research a little along the way. I was offered by Collective Bias and Sam’s Club to try out their 4xProbiotic brand and see how it makes me feel.
What are probiotics?
Simply put, probiotics are bacteria that help maintain a healthy digestive system. Probiotics contribute to a healthy microflora and support immune system function.
That seems like doctor speak to me. So what do they do? According to wikipedia there seems to be some good side effects of taking Probiotics. They can help take care of things like diarrhea, lactose intolerance (must tell FIL!), colon cancer, lower cholesterol, and help with immune function and infections.
Sounds good to me. My husband has been wanting to try probiotics as well, so he’s trying them right along with me. I’ll be back in approximately a week to tell you how things are going for the two of us. Meanwhile, you can read more about digestive health and check out Sam’s Club. We spent $28.88 for a 3 month supply, which will actually be a 1.5 month supply since we’re both taking it.
So tell me: Do you take probiotics? If so, why? How have you felt since taking them? What brand do you take?
This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper insights study for Collective Bias. All opinions are my own.

I tried a probiotic for a week (it was in a kit) and really loved it. I’ve been off of it for about a week now and I can definitely tell the difference because I’m feeling kind of blah again. I’m now trying to decide which probiotic I should start taking on a continuous basis since the week one was successful. i’ll check back to see how yours worked out!
