Elmer's x-treme, clippy holder, craft, tutorialI got a chance to try Elmer’s new X-TREME glue stick. This awesome glue stick can work on a variety of surfaces such as: wood, fabric, craft materials, foam board and much more. I had to come up with a craft to show you how well the glue stick works. The kids and I spent at least an hour, if not two, at Hobby Lobby trying to decide what to make! I finally settled on showing you how to make a simple, quick, clippy holder.

Supplies Needed:

Hair Clippy Holder, frame clippy holder

  • Frame
  • Paper or fabric for background
  • ribbon
  • X-TREME glue stick
  • Hot glue gun
  • pencil
  • scissors
  • embellishments

Putting it all together:

  1. Dismantle your frame, trace the glass on to your paper or fabric and cut out. Glue your background to your glass using your X-TREME glue stick.
  2. Cut pieces of ribbon and hot glue ends to the back of your glass.
  3. Reassemble your frame.
  4. Add any embellishments to your frame that you’d like using hot glue or your X-TREME glue stick. clippy holder, frame, collective bias, Elmer's X-TREME

For a step by step pictorial, please view my This Moment slide show below:

The nice thing is this whole project cost less than $7!

This project has been compensated as part of a craft recipe project using Elmer’s #collectivebias #xtremeschoolglue #gluenglitter

This is super cute! I love that you can clip little things on the ribbons; I’m forever losing small items and this would be great.
