Got some really good couponing deals this week. The kids and I hit 5 stores today. Two were not for couponing. I went to Trader Joe’s to get my favorite Orange Chicken and some steel cut oats to make crockpot oatmeal. The other non-couponing trip was Wal-Mart to pick up whatever I couldn’t get while couponing.
Meijer
Meijer currently has their buy 10 for $10, get the 11th item free deal. I only intended to go in for the Bisquick, Creamers and Sunny D. I saw that the chicken nuggets were $1 each and we love this kind here, so I got enough to get the 11th free item. Also, the cat food was $2.79 each and I had 2 coupons for $3 off. I made money on the cat food!

CVS I got some AWESOME Deals! The easter egg and bubbles you get Extra Care Bucks back in the amount in which they rang up. The air fresheners were $5 each and I had coupons for $4 off each. Bottom line…

Jewel
Jewel has a lot of CAT deals going on this week. Also, Edy’s ice cream is B1G2F and I had a coupon for $3 off frozen from Jewel. There was only one deal I couldn’t do that I’d like to try to find at another Jewel. Currently Smart Balance milk is $2.50 a half gallon. I have coupons for $2 off, making it .50 for a half gallon of milk!

I hate JEWEL thats all I’m saying. I went to dominicks and with the online coupon selection I got Turkey for $3.98 a lb and they had it for $5 a lb on the sign. I think it’s crazy they make you jumps through hoops but I love saving $
