Yesterday I was given the chance to try out Wendy’s new Pick 2 menu courtesy of Wendys and The Motherhood.  We were allowed to bring two friends each to hang out with local bloggers. I think I’ve even talked my friend Di into starting her own blog!!


So Wendy’s has a new menu where you can pick a half salad and a side for $4.99. I am not a big salad person, but I really liked my salad. (once I took off the tomatoes 😉 ) I planned on getting the baked potato as my side, but they ran out just as I got to the counter. 🙁 I ended up getting the BLT Cobb Salad with a Small Drink as my side. (By the way, why does Wendy’s think a medium drink is a small?)

My friend Di got the same salad as I did and my friend Kim got the Baja Salad (pictured below.) I was very surprised that the salad filled me up. (I did steal some fries from my son.)

Unfortunately I didn’t really get a chance to chat with my local blogging friends: Michelle, Weasel Momma, Emily, Brandie, Theresa, and Lydia, because I had two sick kiddos at home that I had to rush home to. (Sorry I didn’t get to say more than hi!)

  5. I’d pick the Apple Pecan Chicken Salad and a baked potato (umm…I’m not sure I think that a drink is worth the same value as a side like chili or the potato, seems like a kind of lopsided menu there…)
