What are your plans this week?
I have nothing exciting planned for once! I’m going to bake an apple pie today (any good recipes out there?)
I want to bake cupcakes to teach my sister in law how to frost. She seems to really want to learn how to do all the goodies 🙂
I plan to make some sort of Halloween treat to feature on the blog.
Thursday is the kids’ last day of gymnastics for this session. After I find out if they move to the next level I’m going to sign them up for the next session. After that we’ll probably take a break because I know myself and the winter: If I don’t have to leave the house, I won’t! I’d hate to pay for a class that I don’t take the kids to (cough cough swim lessons cough cough.)
This Friday is my brother’s in law birthday party and I doubt I can go because I’d have to bring the kids. I’d love to go, because I love parties at my sister’s house. It starts at 7, though, and Little Man goes to bed at 7.
This weekend is the St Charles Scarecrow Fest and I think we’re going to do that as a family! We went last year and brought home a full size scarecrow that we made there. It was kind of a pain to drag back to the car, but it was definitely a great family day.
I think I’m also going to start project: pull master bath apart. Out of curiosity I started pulling down some wallpaper yesterday to see how well it was stuck. I think with the little handheld steamer we’re borrowing it’ll come off easily.
My biggest goal this week is to get on a schedule: Get all laundry caught up and do one load a day, make sure dishes are done each day, three days of home schooling, three days to the gym, and make sure rooms are picked up each night. (Any tips?) 🙂
Alright, time to end this post. I have less than 2 hours to get myself and three kids dressed, fed, ready for school and the gym.

Hi Paula, what do you do with Halloween? In the Netherlands we don’t realy celibrate / or do anything special with Halloween.
Paula says
With our family we usually get together at Grandma’s house and have a party with all 7 of the grandkids. We make Halloween style treats, have chili and trick or treat.

I’m taking it easy today. I only wrote one post for my blog, and will be spending the rest of the day visiting and commenting. My evenings will be busy this week. Tonight and Wed. are the only evenings with nothing scheduled, yet.

I think we are all going to be sick this week. However, Wednesday night I should be going to Halloween Horror Nights with my best friend Meredith. Very excited!

You are killing me with all the baking. I want some! LOL I do not bake much unless it comes out of a box. I really need to get better about that.
