I have to admit I’ve not done the best with training over the past week and a half for my Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure® walk. I was battling some kind of stomach issue that any time I ate my stomach would rumble and off to the bathroom I would run. It’s FINALLY settled down. I did get a few workouts in. I’m currently sitting in the Atlanta airport waiting to go to New Orleans for Bloggers on Bourbon. Praying that Tropical Storm Bonnie doesn’t get any worse since I have to fly out Sunday night. Tomorrow I will be getting up early to get a nice training walk in with BookieBoo. As soon as I get home I have to hit the training hard. My walk is 2 weeks from today!! It came up so fast!

Training last week:

July 17 3.2 miles on the treadmill

July 20 Just muscles class. (My abs are still sore!)

That’s it… pretty pathetic. I’ll have to say, though, what kept me going during my muscles class was repeating that I was the Energizer Bunny® that needed to Keep Going®. I wear my Energizer® Keep Going® bracelet all the time as a reminder.

Hope everyone else is doing well on their training! Right now Caitlin Thayer is walking the 3-Day for the Cure® walk in Boston. Head over and tell her you support her!

About Paula

Paula Krueger considers herself a "baby "chef, not because she cooks for babies, but because she's still learning how to cook. She also covers product reviews and travel as well.
