I wanted to show off the cake I made for the tasting for the bride and groom I’m doing a wedding for in July. I made them a Tres Leches cake. I made two last weekend, one to test since I’d never made one before and another for them to try. Ours was good, but theirs was SO much better. It is definitely a YUMMY cake! It was my first time using whipped cream frosting. A little bit too many bubbles in it. I have to learn how to get the right consistency before the wedding. I used the Pioneer Woman’s recipe. She made it really easy to follow along with all her pictures.

That’s it for my Follow Friday edition. I just wanted to ask that you please pray, think good thoughts, whatever you believe for us with our house adventure. We found out there is more roof damage than originally anticipated and it’s basically going to probably eat our entire house budget. We’re hoping the current owners will agree to help out some. My husband and I both love the house and location and we don’t want to lose it. We should also be hearing back about the FHA appraisal/inspection today. Hoping nothing show stopping comes up there.
