Sometimes you just want to go to a baseball game or go see a concert, but have you seen the prices for the tickets?! I know my husband would love to take my son to Cubs games, but who can afford face value on tickets? If you want to save some money on tickets, check out ScoreBig.  On ScoreBig you can name your own price for concerts and sport tickets and you find out immediately if your offer is accepted.

Score Big Steps

As you can see from the steps above, it’s very easy to use. First you browse your area to see what’s happening; you can even check other areas! Then, let’s say you want want to go to a Cubs game. You click on Chicago Cubs and it tells you what dates there are available and who is playing in those games. You click on the game you’d like to see and then you see the seating areas you can choose from. Once you pick your seating area you then tell ScoreBig how much you’d like to pay per ticket. It will tell you your chances of getting tickets for that price. The next screen is where you enter your credit card information and try to get your tickets.

great seats no feesIt took me three tries to get tickets for my husband and son to go see a Cubs game. My budget was $100 for two tickets and I really wanted to get them tickets for Cubs vs White Sox, but that’s a hard game to get tickets for to begin with and I couldn’t get them for $100. They did end up with tickets to see Cubs vs New York Mets in the 3-star seating area. I think they’re going to have a great time! One very nice thing about ScoreBig is that there are no fees included in your ticket prices. You know how quickly fees add up on those other sites!

If you could ScoreBig on some tickets, what would you see? I know I’d love to go see P!NK again in concert! I’d also love to take my whole family to a hockey game when that season comes back around.

I’ll be seeing Blue October for the first time in May (hopefully, they don’t cancel like Okkervil River did this month). I’d also love to see Lana Del Rey, Kings of Leon, Neko Case, Manchester Orchestra, and The Flaming Lips. 🙂

I didn’t realize there were no fees. That’s a huge benefit to using them!

I like that you can name your own price. For families on a budget it’s possible to attend an even that they otherwise may not have been able to afford.
