My focus for 2012

I’ve decided that instead of just doing a bunch New Year’s Resolutions I’d find a word to focus on and how it will affect my whole life. My word for 2012 is:

I’m going to list for you the ways I’m going to center Faith around my life:

word of 2012, resolutions

Faith in God: I will have faith in God that no matter what I go through this year, he’ll be there for me. Sometimes he may be a loud force in my life and other times he may be a quiet little mouse.

Faith in Charlie: I will have faith that my husband will love me, take care of me and my children and to also take care of himself so that he will continue to be here for us.

Faith in my Kids: I will have faith that my kids will continue to grow to be happy, healthy little people.

Faith in Myself: I will have faith in myself that I will be able to accomplish the goals I set for myself this year. My current goals are pretty typical for starting out the new year. Here are a few of my goals:

  1. Have more family time
  2. Continue cleaning out and organizing my house
  3. Lose weight
  4. Continue working towards being a more successful blogger.
  5. Work on building lasting friendships.

That’s my hand and my ring that I’ve been wearing for probably about a year now. By the way, do you know how hard it is to take a picture of your right hand by yourself?!

About Paula

Paula Krueger considers herself a "baby "chef, not because she cooks for babies, but because she's still learning how to cook. She started this blog after taking Wilton method classes and at that point was more interested in baking. She's since become more interested in learning to cook as her family has grown. She also covers product reviews and travel as well.

    That’s a great theme for 2012!

Good luck with your goals, mine are fairly similar as well.

Love that you are focusing on a single word. It’s so much easier and I bet will be easier to refocus if you start to drift. Good luck this year. I think that you are already off to a wonderful start. Commenting on my blog last week has jump started me to do it for others too. I have faith that I will learn to recognize inspiration in others and take action.

I’m glad I could inspire you. It’s been fun visiting everyone’s site again. It’s also fun to have people come visit mine and leave me relevant comments 🙂
