Preheat oven to 400°F.
-
Spray a baking dish with olive oil or avocado oil spray.
-
Add the diced chicken, orzo, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, salt and pepper to the baking dish.
-
Stir everything together and make a space in the middle of the dish.
-
Place the Boursin cheese in the center.
-
Pour the chicken broth and heavy cream into the baking dish and add the lemon juice.
-
Give everything a gentle stir around the Boursin, making sure all of the orzo is underneath the liquid.
-
Bake for approximately 20–40 minutes, checking it toward the earlier end of the cooking time. The chicken should be fully cooked and the orzo tender.
-
Stir the melted Boursin into the chicken and orzo until everything is creamy and well combined.
-
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top and serve.
Cooking time can vary depending on your oven and baking dish. Begin checking the dish around 20 minutes.
Make sure the orzo remains underneath the liquid while baking so it cooks evenly.
